General Market Review


Due to higher optimism on increasing travel demand, many airlines were in the green. United Airlines and American Airlines raised guidance for second quarter revenue. Shares were up 1.50% and 0.96%, respectively.


The District of Columbia filed a lawsuit against Amazon for alleging that Amazon prevents sellers from offering lower prices on other websites. Amazon was up 0.43%. Bond yields rose with fears of inflation.


US crude inventories fell 439,000 last week, while expectations were a build of 620,000 million barrels. Occidental Petroleum fell 3.19%.
