General Market Review


The FOMC is expected to keep interest rates monthly bond purchases unchanged. The FOMC has said there would be ample notice before beginning to discuss tapering bond purchases.


Oil prices are up again as crude inventories fell 8.5 million barrels, compared to a draw of 2.1 million barrels for last week. Travel demand increases with lowered pandemic restrictions. Occidental Petroleum added 3.25% today.


Boeing was up 0.61% after the US and EU ended a 17-year dispute over aircraft subsidies. This 5-year truce will allow the aircraft industry and airbus to grow.
