Market Minutes – July 16th
Market Update — US futures are trading higher after a strong week of second-quarter earnings.
International Markets — European markets are mixed as investor watch data, earnings, and delta variant. Asian markets are mixed as the Bank of Japan keeps rates unchanged.
Commodities — Gold and silver are trading lower but are set for the fourth straight weekly gain on dovish comments from the fed. Oil is trading slightly higher but set for its largest weekly drop in months.
Crypto — Bitcoin is trading 0.71% lower around $31,328. Ethereum is trading 2.21% lower around $1,873 a coin.
Biggest After Market Movers — Moderna is trading 7.3% higher it was announced it will be included in the S&P500. Didi is trading 5.5% lower after over 7 Chinese government departments are conducting a cybersecurity review. Fubo is trading 4.7% higher after Fubo Gaming came to an agreement with casino operator Cordish companies to launch a sportsbook in Pennsylvania. Live Nations is trading 2.6% higher after Goldman Sachs upgraded them to a buy.
